Safety. Workmanship. Others. Character.
The vision at Steelworks is stated as: "Building a better future by partnering with clients and members to enrich our communities." We all want a better future, but the question is how to achieve it. At Steelworks we focus on partnerships. We partner with our clients and are dedicated to helping them succeed on their projects. We also partner with our members, whose skills and results on quality place Steelworks ahead of its competition. With the “who” defined, we now have to answer the “why” or, in other words, what is the purpose for Steelworks’ existence?
Steelworks purpose is to enrich our communities, which means to improve or enhance the quality or value of the areas where we live and work. Steelworks enhances our communities by:
1. Providing a place of employment for families
2. Providing funds for those in need directly from Steelworks or from its members
3. Mentoring either at work to help members succeed and advance or outside of work.
The values statement is the heart of the culture at Steelworks. It defines how each member works with and treat other members. It is also the measure in which members are evaluated. The values at Steelworks is known as “SWOC”: Safety, Workmanship, Others and Character.
